The Office:
The Senior Associate Dean for Medical Education oversees the medical student curriculum.

Responsibilities include:

• directing the Center for Educational Development and Research
• overseeing the Instructional Design and Technology Unit
• preparing and maintaining the budget for education
• assisting in curricular planning, implementation and evaluation in coordination with the Medical Education Committee
• coordinating curricular programs among UCR/UCLA Thomas Haider Program in Biomedical Sciences; the Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science; and UCLA
