Information:	The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine is a multifaceted practice group in disease management diagnostic services. The Division of Anatomic Pathology includes surgical pathology, cytology, and fine needle consultation. Our physicians practice on a fully subspecialty basis, including GI/liver, hematopathology, renal pathology, cytology/FNA, neuropathology, ophthalmic pathology, and autopsy. This large service currently exceeds 30,000 surgical, 55,000 cytology, 1000 FNA, and 200 autopsy examinations. These services are available to any subscribing hospitals, clinics, and provider groups. In addition to diagnostic disease management services, the department also provides these services for academic and commercial research groups, technology and instrumentation development clients, through clinical evaluation programs and professional consultation.
