The Jules Stein Eye Institute, the Doris Stein Eye Research Center, and the Department of Ophthalmology constitute a comprehensive center dedicated to the preservation of vision and prevention of blindness through patient care, research, and education.
Clinical services include the Faculty Consultation Service, University Ophthalmology Associates, Ophthalmology Treatment Centers, Ophthalmology Clinical Laboratories, inpatient and outpatient surgery, and inpatient services. Specialized consultation and treatment of major eye diseases and specific ophthalmic conditions is available in the Ophthalmology Treatment Centers, which are as follows:
