The Behavioral Testing Core facility provides a much needed service and enhances further the standing of the UCLA research community in behavioral genetics; providing equipment and training in the most frequently-used rodent behavior procedures. The Core is available to all UCLA researchers interested in the determination of behavioral phenotypes in different rodent strains. The Core was established with the assistance of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute and members of the UCLA research community. Fees paid by individual users support the daily operations of the Core.
